Overall Purpose of this Blog

To share the experiences of two entrepreneurs who are passionate about the work that they do, the flexibility of small business and power of online connections.  In a nutshell, we are doing this to support one another’s businesses to be as successful as possible.

April’s Thoughts

It is my hope that my journey will be a resource for those on Prince Edward Island who are thinking about taking the leap into self-employment.

I am also looking forward to collaborating with Jane and the community for support as I go through the different stages in starting my business.

This website will help to make Prince Edward Island stronger, as One Island Community.

Jane’s Thoughts

  I love working with April on anything!  She is an amazing thinker and she truly inspires me to do great work!

Since I am farther along in my small business journey than April; I think there are lots of helpful things that I can share with her as she begins her own adventure. I also know that there are many things that April can teach me as she explores new areas.  We will benefit each other!

I love the power of social media, blogging and telling stories; I think that there are others who may also benefit from what April and I will share on this blog.

I am passionate about building community and facilitating conversations.   I am hoping that people who visit this blog will share their own thoughts and expertise with us as well. The discussions and support will really help us as we move forward.
